Born and raised in Detroit MI. Studied at Detroit Society of Arts and Crafts. Graduated cum laude from University of Michigan School of Art, Ann Arbor MI, BFA double major in Drawing/Painting + Design with Teaching Credential, K-12. Moved to San Francisco 1978. Taught children’s art classes 1980-1998. Continued studies in Printmaking, Drawing/Painting and Ceramics at Fort Mason Art Center, San Francisco CA 1980-2005. Member of California Society of Printmakers 1992-2018.
My artwork has been commissioned and collected by galleries and art consultants for hospitals, offices, stores, home clients, and patrons nationwide and Japan. Fellow artists have also purchased my creations, mentioning “unique, whimsical, and fresh” as descriptions. I am continually gathering the beauty, surprise, and magic of the art making moment.
