Every few years I take a detour from printmaking, leaving ink, plate and press, to cultivate a fascination in found objects and mixed media. The results are imaginary structures and settings, architectural and agricultural, with inspiration beginning at home, meandering into my garden and then surrounding neighborhoods. My monumental series “Sidetracked” pays homage to San Francisco, whereas petite “Retreat” echoes my move to a new adventure.
